It is the time of the year for the "Dawsonville Moonshine Festival". Many tourists and motorcycle riders frequent this area and the biker campgrounds. September through November is the busiest time the the year for vendors and businesses that cater to bikers. This area of North Georgia has an incredible amount of motorcycle riders traveling through. There is a lot of tourist activity and the mountain roads are very popular with the biker community. The fact is that on the weekend, you will see approximately one bike for every four cars that travel in this area.
